At Fontleroy, we want you to love your boots. Buying wide calf boots online means trying them on at home, and our policy is written with that in mind.

Complimentary Shipping, Exchanges, and Return Shipping

Every US order ships free. Exchanges are free. Return shipping is on us.

Returns: Full Refund, Less a 20% Restocking Fee

Unworn boots are eligible for a full refund to your original payment method, less a 20% restocking fee, when both of the following are met:

  • Your return is requested within 30 days of your purchase date
  • Your boots are postmarked back to us within 14 days of delivery

The 20% restocking fee covers inspecting, reconditioning, and repackaging each pair so it can be offered again at full quality. The fee does not apply to exchanges, or to boots that arrive defective or differ from what you ordered.

Condition Requirements

  • Unworn and free of any outdoor wear, scuffs, sole wear, or odor
  • Returned in original packaging with proof of purchase

A note on fit testing: Please try your boots on at home over a clean indoor surface. Boots returned with signs of outdoor wear, dirt on the sole, scuffing, or odor are not eligible for a refund and will be returned to you at your expense. We inspect every return carefully and reserve the right to refuse a refund if boots show use beyond indoor fit testing.

Exchanges

Exchanges follow the same timeline as returns: requested within 30 days of purchase and postmarked within 14 days of delivery. There is no restocking fee on exchanges. Email info@fontleroy.com with your order number and the style and size you would like. We will confirm availability and send instructions. Exchanges are subject to availability.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Email info@fontleroy.com with your order number and reason for return. We reply within one business day with a return authorization and shipping instructions. Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.

Non Returnable Items

  • Boots showing signs of outdoor wear, scuffs, sole wear, or odor
  • Boots returned without original packaging
  • Items marked Final Sale at time of purchase
  • Gift cards

Refund Timing

Once your return arrives and passes inspection, your refund, less the 20% restocking fee, is issued to your original payment method within 3 business days. Please allow a few additional days for your bank to post it.
